  • What causes does the SPCF support?  The St Paul Curling Foundation exists to promote and teach the sport of curling, and to maintain the historical St Paul Curling Club.
  • How do I apply to receive funds from the SPCF?  Click here for an application form.  Complete the form and deliver it to the manager at St Paul Curling Club, or email it here.
  • Who is eligible to receive SPCF funds?  Any individual or group willing to educate others about the sport of curling, promote or expand the sport of curling, or junior curlers looking to enhance their game.  Also, a representative of the St Paul Curling Club board may request funds to repair, replace or upgrade the building or infrastructure at the St Paul Curling Club.
  • Who determines if funds will be awarded?  The SPCF Board will review and make a determination for every application they receive.
  • What criteria will be used to make these determinations?  The board will review each application and determine how well it meets the Foundation’s mission.  The board will also weigh each application against the others received and prioritize accordingly based on available funds and adherence to the mission.
  • Can I donate to the SPCF?  Anyone who shares a love for the sport of curling and an appreciation for the history of the St Paul Curling Club can make a donation to the SPCF.
  • Are donations to the SPCF tax-deductible?  The SPCF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. An individual who itemizes deductions may deduct contributions made to SPCF and other charitable organizations up to 50% of his or her adjusted gross income. See your tax advisor for details.

  • Can I choose which area my donation will go to support?  Yes, you may indicate the specific area on your donation form (education, junior curling, building infrastructure, etc) or you can make a general donation.
